it's a case alright, so everything the reviewrs have been saying is true. It's the best case there is, everything lines up it's great. Just as for the heads up, there's no actual cover for the screen, however as you see in the picture there's a flap which drops down and protects it. The only thing that dropped the case 1 star was the fact that once I put the ipod in the case (and the 2 generation 8gb touch fit perfectly) the magnet wouldn't hold clode and so there was a loose flap hanging out. This was a little dissapointing because it's been reviewed as the best ipod touch case, and yet there's still a flaw.
Excellent case & shopping experience! I just got this case today. The whole shopping experience was good, I was a little afraid because of those 1 star reviews saying that their order was cancelled, but it didnt happen to me. The case is just perfect for my iPod Touch 1G, I had a hard time trying to find a case for this specific iPod, but it fits just right, and it is now really protected. About the bad smell other people talk about, mine is NOT smelly at all! Thanks for a perfect shopping experience Amazon!!
Okay The case is okay but the back is very bendable and the magnets don't really work
